Kawasaki Robotics & MechMind 3D Vision Autonomous Parcel Sorting

 

Unstructured, autonomous parcel sorting with a Kawasaki RS007L robot enabled by Mech Mind’s 3D camera and AI-powered software for intelligent robots.

• • Uses 3D vision to detect random parcels (bags, boxes, letters.)
  • Uses an AI library to recognize objects. Any new object can be placed in the system at any time. 
  • Vision/Robot can detect parcels of any size, including thin letters less than 1mm thick.
  • Pre-build functionality, pre-made programs, and troubleshooting tools
  • Combines 3D point cloud and 2D vision to create an accurate image and pick a location.

Kawasaki Robotics Arc Welding & K-Positioners System

 

We’ve been perfecting our arc welding robot lineup to perform accurate and consistent welds. It includes features such as touch sensing, advanced weaving, an endless positioner rotation function, a built-in weld database, and a standard AS language.

Additionally, we've added a line of K-positioner. From single axis, double axis to multi-positioners we’ve got them. With our positioners, the robot can easily manipulate the position of the workpiece, allowing the welding torch to be positioned at the correct angle and distance from the workpiece ensuring the welds are of highest quality and consistency. The cell featured at Automate, will include a Kawasaki BA006L robot that simulates arc welding on a Kawasaki Ninja EX650 mounted on a double-axis PST125-L2 K-positioner.
